Purpose
This documentation will provide steps on how to setup SmartVPN Client for iPhone users only.
Process
- Download and install Smart-VPN from App Store
- To add a VPN profile, open Smart-VPN app > click the Home icon at the bottom part > then click the + sign
- Configure the following as shown below:
Type: IKEv2 EAP
Profile: VPN(Company Name) e.g. VPNTvc
Server: ask your IT administrator
Remote ID: ask your IT administrator
Username and password: ask your IT administrator
Connect on Demand: enabled
Click On Demand Rule > Match Domains > Add Domain > enter the same Server details from your IT administrator > select Done
Go back a page to Edit On Demand Rule > Match Interface Type > select Cellular
Once everything is done > click Save
- Once saved, go back to Home page > tap the VPN profile you just setup > toggle Enabled and Status ON as shown below
Connection Time and Assigned IP will show once you’ve successfully connected to VPN
