Purpose
A guide to setting up your email using iPhone’s standard mail app.
Process
NOTE: The standard Mail app for iPhone does not support shared mailboxes
The mail app is pre installed on all iPhones. However, if you have deleted the mail app you must reinstall it through the app store. If you already have the app skip to the next step. If not:

- Open the app store > type in mail and install the app.
If you already have an email connected to the Mail app and wish to add another then follow the steps below. If this is your first time adding an email proceed to step 1.
- Go onto settings, scroll down to access the search bar and search for Mail
- Ensure you select the correct Mail
- In Mail select Accounts
- In Accounts select Add Account
- You will now be on this screen. Proceed to step 1. and continue
1. Select your email provider. Note: steps may look different based on which email provider you are using.
2. Enter your email address and press Next.
3. Enter your password and press Sign in.
4. You may be prompted to setup additional security for your email. Select your desired security measure and follow the instructions they provide.
5. You will need to allow your email provider certain permissions by pressing Accept.
5. Select what apps your email provider will have access to and select save.
6. Allow notifications so that you’ll be notified when you receive mail
